# Your Story Template
If you’re passionate about your topic, you have some kind of story you can tell about it. Or you can write about a client’s story. There is a story to almost every topic.
If you want to write an article about something that normally would take only a few words to explain (like how to make a tasty drink of cold water and lemon juice), you can offer the reader a totally different experience by telling a personal story, before you reveil the recipe.
This kind of article can also be used just to make a point in general, or to sell a product (the hero will then be your product).
People love stories, so this is a type of article that you can be sure will be read a lot of times, and probably also get picked up by other marketers, if you’re aiming at syndicating your article.
This is how you write an article, using the Your Story Template:
1: Pick your topic.
2: Write an intriguing headline that summons up the benefit the reader will get from reading your story.
3: Write the introduction to your article. You can start out directly with your story. Your story can be something you’ve experienced, or something a client or a friend experienced.
4: Your story will be better if you write with passion, and if you include some kind of obstacle, you or your friend/client had to overcome.
5: Conclude your article by letting the reader know what he’s supposed to learn from your story, and why it can help him.
6: Lead into your resource box, if you’re writing for syndication, traffic and/or back links.
