# The Odd Rant Article Template

This article template is to be taken with caution. It can have a very strong impact on your reader, and you should only rant from time to time. Being controversial attracts more readers, but if you do nothing but ranting, you’ll convey yourself as an old grump.

When you pick your rant, make sure that it makes you stand out as the good guy, and preferably only rant about topics that’s inline with your branding.

Example:

If you want to brand yourself as an ethical marketer, rant about scamming gurus who cheat their clients.

If you want to brand yourself as a marriage counselor, rant about bad advisers, or the high number of divorces.

This is how you use the Odd Rant Article Template:

1: Pick your topic. You can find something in the news, on forums, in your niche, or in your life.

2: Write an introduction to your article, and start out by mentioning the topic you’re ranting about.

3: Write the content of the article. Include quotes when possible, for example, if you’re ranting about how some gurus scam their customers, it will prove your statement to be true, if you can quote what they say or write about this subject. In most cases, you should avoid mentioning names, though.

4: Write your thoughts, and let the reader know why this makes you furious.

5: Summon up your article in the conclusion, and lead into your resource box, if you’re writing for syndication, traffic or back links.
