# The Why Article Template

Many journalists were told to cover a specific area of questions in their articles. Those were:

who, what, where, when, and why (or how)

You have probably heard that it is a great idea to write “how to” articles, because people look for solutions and “how to” do something. But sometimes, you want them to feel the pain a bit, before you offer them relief with a way out (could be another article or a product).

This is where the “why” article comes into the picture. A “why” article is perfect to make a solution obvious and the reader will want to learn more, namely “how to” obtain it.

This is how to use the Why Article Template:

1: Pick your topic. Where do you want to guide the reader today, Do you want him to realize that he needs a new living room, Do you want him to consider buying an iPad, Or do you want him to feel ready to buy your latest eBook,

2: Come up with a teasing headline.

Examples:

“Why You Need an iPad Today and Not Tomorrow”

“Why Article Marketing Is the Best Long Term Traffic Strategy”

“The Unique Selling Proposition and Why You Need One”

3: Write an introduction to your article. Introduce your topic.

4: Elaborate on your topic. Explain the benefits of it, and tell the reader exactly why it would be good for him to have it.

5: Summon up your article in the conclusion, and lead into your resource box, if you are writing for article syndication, traffic or back links.
