# The Set the Context Article Template

Context is everything when it comes to persuasion, and you probably want to do some kind of enticement with your article or blog post.

With this article template you learn how to set the context in your article or blog post.

This is how to use the Set the Context Article Template:

1: Define your purpose with your article. What do you want your readers to do, after they have read it, What action would you like them to do,

2: What steps do your readers need to take, before they are willing to perform the wanted action, Or what do they have to believe in and agree to,

For example, if you want your readers to sign up to a free course about Pinterest, it is important that they know what Pinterest is, and they must agree to the fact that people love pictures.

3: Use the introduction of your article to tell a story that sets the context.

For the above example, you could tell a story about Albert, who was working as an Internet marketer, but with little success.

Then he discovered that his wife were making lots of money on the Internet using a social site he had never heard of before.

His wife showed him Pinterest and all the pictures she was sharing there. Her female friends loved them and shared with others. A lot of times, people bought the things she was promoting through pictures.

This story can be as long as it takes. People love to read stories. As long as you keep it entertaining, you will not start to bore them.

Use short sentences and paragraphs.

4: Continue to talk about the purpose of your article. If you want people to sign up for a free course, then you should write about the benefits of this course. If you want them to click through to another site to read something, then write about what they can discover there and what benefits they will get.

5: Invite your readers to take action. If this article is meant for an article directory, you should only do this step in the resource box. If it is meant for your blog, you can do it directly in the blog post.

6: Come up with a fitting headline to your article/blog post. You can use something from your story, like: “Internet marketer learns the real secret to money-making from his wife”.
